Structured Sober Living is a term used to describe a sober house with a set structure for residents, including curfew, meeting requirements, mandatory drug and alcohol screening, and other recovery support amenities. All Granada House Review homes are structured sober living environments.

VSL Chartered Operators offer structured sober living for men and women where every guest is supported in their recovery journeys. Guests live together as a family to develop the tools and strengthen their character in order to live free from substance abuse. VSL homes allow for independence while guided by a set of recovery-focused house rules, standards, and expectations. Guests are engaged in their personal recovery journey by attending meetings and working with a sponsor and a House Mentor for support and encouragement. Guests adhere to a curfew, submit to drug and alcohol screenings, and participate in home and community events.

This home has been open for several years, and as of September 2022, is the first Granada House Review location in Springfield, Illinois! We carefully screen each applicant and conduct a telephone screen prior to approval to ensure a good fit in our homes. We understand the challenges that a House Mentor faces every day, and we have many programs in place to support and encourage them – not only as a mentor, but as a man or woman in recovery themself.

The Rediscovery Recovery House is conveniently located in Downtown Springfield, with easy access to public transportation and area amenities. This home is pending certification, and we are dedicated to leading this sober house according to the NARR principles. We refer guests to our local care providers when they need a higher level of care, and work to maintain strong referral relationships with clinicians, case workers, court officers, and others in the field.
